For our honeymoon we spent a few weeks in Greece. We landed in Athens and spent two days there, taking in the Parthenon, museum, and a few other sights. After Athens we visited the Oracle at Delphi, and then went on to see beautiful Meteora (we now pronounce it met'-ay-or-uh, accent on "met", "ay" pronounced like the "a" in fate. Draw the syllable "or" out a bit long. Basically, say it like an Italian.) We then headed back to Athens and rented a car. I drove us to Nafplio in the Peloppenese. Driving out of Athens was the scariest part. We stayed there three nights and visited, most notably, the Theatre at Epidauros. Other than that we took it easy there. Next we headed back to Athens and onto a ferry to Santorini Island.

This is listed in our book as "prison cells for errant monks", but I remember being told that hermits live and pray there. It's the last dwelling we saw at the Meteora, and in it's way, the most impressive
