LITTLE ANNAPURNA
My Father and Wife were too beat to undertake the climb to the top of Little Annapurna, so I had to go it alone. It was a treacherous ordeal, frought with trials and tribulations...I mean trails and tributaries. Actually it was quite a climb. Just before the top I had to traverse a snowfield for about 30 yards. It wasn't really that hard, but I was ill-equipped wearing just sandals and without poles.
Here, check it out...

Though you can't see it from here the top has a couple of acres of relatively flat land. The view was amazing. I need to put together a little video of it, but alas, youtube would make it look bad anyway. You will just have to wait for the DVD. Out soon!

For now, here are 4 pictures from the summit, and four pictures from the upper basin of Enchantment Lakes

1. Vista from atop Little Annapurna 2. Self-portrait on the mountain-top 3. Rugged peaks 4. Almost looks like ancient ruins

Here are some pictures taken after descending Little Annapurna. They were taken in the upper basin of the Enchantment Lakes area.
1. Little Annapurna out of view to the left as I return to camp 2. A little further away now 3. Facing the lower basin 4. Moonscape
